Welcome to the Lanza Retreat

Lanza Retreat - The Least We Can Do

It is a tragedy that in this day and age that our armed forces personnel are increasingly put at risk to protect our country, way of life and beliefs.

Our hearts, thoughts and prayers go out to those who don't survive and their families. We are forever in their debt.

"The least we can do" for those who return home having suffered loss of limb or made disabled, whilst serving in our country's armed forces is to show our gratitude by offering help and assistance.

Our disabled service personnel are an inspiration to us. Their fight to overcome adversity is truly astonishing. Their achievements are amazing and an example to us all.

I am sure like me you appreciate how hard it must be for the individual to overcome the mental, physical and emotional effects of losing a limb or becoming disabled, and the subsequent affects on their families.

I am in the process of designing and building a retreat in Lanzarote, to offer free holidays to Post 9/11 British Armed Forces Personnel who have suffered loss of limbs or have become disabled whilst in the service of our country, to enable them to get away with their partner and children. Or if they don't have a family, with a person of their choice. To rest and recuperate, eliminate stress and hopefully return to the UK to face new challenges.

If you would like to help. Please complete our petition of support

Thank you for your interest and please stay involved. They need your help!.

Kind regards,

Bernard Collins
